The other end of pendulum

Rat race.
what does it take to get apart?
a pinch of indifference,
but not a little too much
for a little here,
and a little there,
would sway you away from
the reason you got away.

Questioning self and the ways of your being,
an unsettling unrest residing in your heart
Is it worth it to go on?
the road less travelled,
a mountain of 'what ifs' mounting your chest
but then 'decisions' have never been my favourite

what am i searching for?
a pIvot,
something around which my life can revolve,
the idea of imprinting ,
a direction of life to live.
